I have to ask the question - how dim do you have to be to fall for it?
Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

Should We Go On? (please read!)

Hi, it's LatiasChild, the founder of this group.

I just came back from a long hiatus and I see that the last contest never really ended, nor have we had any contests since then. It seems that we've lost any sort of interest in this group.

So I've been thinking of deleting the group. I'd rather not have this group be just another unused name on your Watch list. If you agree, I will ask the dA moderators to delete it. If no one really cares, I'll just close down gallery submissions.

But if you disagree and want this group to become something better, then I will try my hardest to bring it back to life. I think this Group has potential; I just never had the drive and vision (and maturity) to make it work. Is anyone interested?

I think it would help if you expanded the focus of your group beyond contests. Even large groups can't always pull them off, but if you start by having quality artwork to get more members, things might kick off more.

I'd be willing to help out the group by suggesting quality arts to gallery. However, I notice I am locked out of sending to any folder except the contest folder.

I was very disappointed with the two Traditional Art pokemon groups, and would love to send that art here. Please help me help you. Heck, I'd even join as an admin on one of my secondary accounts.

We used to have more admins and contests, but somehow it all died out. :( I'm hoping to submit a lot of work on my account in the coming weeks, attract a lot of attention, and spread the news! I'm hoping to ask other groups if they can help advertise us, and I'll try to get more prizes--points, watches, artwork, features--for our contests, too. I was just commissioned for a Pokemon piece, so after I receive payment for it I can offer points as a prize!
