I WILL run this club!

Here are the changes:

1. We will accept regular submissions. This is a BIG thing! We have never had non-contest folders before! For a limited time, you CAN submit into regular folders. ^___^

Our main rules are:
:bulletred: No linearts or sketches. If it looks unfinished, we won't allow it.
:bulletred: Nothing above PG-13. A lot of Pokemon fans are young and we don't want to be a bad influence.
:bulletred: Everything must be related to Pokemon, of course!

2. Each regular-submission month we will vote on our favorite submission! We will post a Journal with all the deviations that were accepted that month, and the one with the most votes will be moved to our Featured gallery, like a contest winner!

3. During contest periods, regular submissions will be closed. This is so that all members can focus on the contest, whether or not they're participating.

4. EDIT: We have a 10-deviation-per-day limit!

5. And we have a spiffy new avatar by PokemonStarVersion! I think it represents us perfectly. Thank you!

Also, I am looking for :pokeball:NEW ADMINS and CRITICS:pokeball:. I want to start up a critiquing service, if possible! Since we're all about quality and improvement. :D

What I need admins to do:
:bulletred: approve submissions and affiliations
:bulletred: answer questions when I'm not available
:bulletred: judge contests

What I need critics to do:
:bulletred: critique (of course!)
:bulletred: judge contests

3 deviations... a MONTH? Do the rights even allow that kind of restriction?

There are lots of groups that only allow one deviation per month.

Groups offering one deviation a month:
#Anime-Manga-Artists
#Game-Art-HQ
#dA-Anime-Club
#Critique-It

Currently we're offering three deviations a month, to be exact, and I plan to keep it low because I prefer that people choose the work they're most proud of. We are looking for people's best, after all. If I hear other complaints, I'll expand it, but for now I'll keep it at three.

None of the groups you mentioned are Pokemon Only groups. I'm guessing they have a heckuva lot more members than you as they basically accept any content of art. Don't restrict things if you don't need to. I imagine you'll already be screening the art that comes in anyway, so if I send in something and you reject it, I have to wait a whole nother month to send in something again - not knowing if you'll reject it, or if the owner is still active enough to approve it, or whether it's been sent in already. I've got a pokemon group with over 1600 people in it and I still struggle to get people to send things in. Limits greatly slow down and cripple how people can help you.

That's true... and they have, like, thousands of members. :( So far I've only had one or two actual members of QPF submit anything. So what do you suggest for the limit?

That's what I'm saying. I really don't like limits, I don't have them in any of my groups and you want to encourage people to send in. If you really feel you need to have a limit, I'd go with the least restrictive and shrink it as you need to if something overwhelming comes in - that's what limits are for. I'd go with the 10 a day.
