New member! Please welcome (warmly) ~MWPPxkonciawa! Sorry for the late update (I haven't been on this account for a while), but does anyone have contest entries? I've sketched out some ideas for my own entry, but... dah... we can't have a contest without competition. XD That'd be sad, especially since pretty much all we do here is contests. So. I expect that the bulk of our entries will arrive when the deadline draws near.

As the title indicates, this is a club devoted to bringing out "quality" Pokemon fanart from the Pokemon community here at dA. Here, submissions are determined through contests, where the judges are our members (aka we VOTE). All members are allowed to compete, and each and every contest entry is judged based on both concept and technique (can't forget the concept! XD). We hold contests about once every month.

We are a club focused almost completely on running contests, so if you're competitive, that's great! If not, you can still participate by voting, suggesting themes for contests, and offering advice on how we can improve. (No flaming, though. XD) We'll be happy to have you, no matter who you are.

_{Basically, we're out to TAKE OVER THE WORLD (of Pokemon), but you don't tell that to anybody. XD}

Now into the deeper matter: why do we hold contests, you ask? Because this is a place where Pokemon fanartists can be recognized for not only their talent but also their creativity. This is a place where our members each have a chance to submit something they have created to our gallery, knowing that it has been accepted and appreciated by their peers. This is a place where we can each improve on the skills we have by observing and practicing alongside those who love what we love: Pokemon fanart.
